- Bat (strongly recommended)
- Baseball/softball cleats (strongly recommended)
Provided by the Little League:
- Each Baseball player will receive a jersey, socks, and a hat from the league. For Minors and above, players will also receive a belt.
- Coaches will have access to balls, a net, catcher’s gear, and a tee to use for the season.
- The league will also provide one bat and a helmet to the team’s coach to share across the team if needed.
Tips & Reminders:
- In Coach Pitch and older, they will not be permitted to play certain positions without a cup.
- The League will make bats, helmets and catchers gear available to share at the younger ages. For older ages (9+), most kids will have their own gear - gloves, bats, bags, etc.
- Due to hygiene and sizing, it’s recommended that players do try to secure their own helmet as best as possible.
- For Little League Approved bat requirements, learn more here.
Equipment Sizing:
For guidance on glove and bat sizing, it's generally recommended for younger ages (5-8 YO’s) to err on the side of smaller versus larger. It's easier for the younger kids to manage a smaller glove or bat, and helps promote better fundamentals if they can control the equipment.
