2025 Avon Grove Spring Baseball

Welcome to Avon Grove Area Little League Baseball and Softball Programs! We are so excited you are registering your player. The Spring season is from mid-March to early June. Practices and games will occur at fields in the Avon Grove School District. Some games may require travel to other teams in our District 28 (Chester County). For information on age divisions, please ensure you read the descriptions on our website before registering,

Note: We are allowing a single request for carpooling per player, for T-Ball and Coach Pitch ONLY. Both players in the carpool must request the same scenario when registering. We will do our best to recognize the requests; however, there is no guarantee.

Mandatory Baseball Skills Assessment for Minors and Majors (Names A-L) - 2/16/25

Mandatory Baseball Skills Assessment for Minors and Majors (Names M-Z) - 2/23/25

Note: The assessment is MANDATORY for Divisions Minors and above. Additional communication will be sent as we approach the dates. Head coaches are advised to attend the Skills Assessments.

Baseball & Softball Drafts (for Managers only) - Week of 2/23/25

First Practices (Minors through Seniors): Week of 3/17/25 (Weather permitting)

First Games (T-Ball through Coach Pitch/Rookies): Weekend of 4/6/25

Little League Opening Day Parade & Team Pictures: 4/12/25

Regular Spring Season ends: 6/7/25

Note: If your player is selected for the All-Star team, play continues through the summer.

EQUIPMENT:

Equipment Required for Player:

Player - Glove

Equipment Provided by LL:

Player - Jersey, Socks, and Hat. Minors Division and above get a belt as well.

Team - Balls, Tee, Nets, Team Catchers Gear, Helmets to Share, Bat, if needed

Recommended Additional Equipment:

Bat, Batting Helmet, Baseball Pants, Cup, and Cleats

CARPOOL REQUESTS are only available for T-BALL, Coach Pitch, and Rookies levels. Other levels are allocated based on Evaluations to ensure teams are evenly distributed with talent.

We are allowing a single request for carpooling per player. Both players in the carpool must request the same scenario when registering. We will do our best to recognize the requests, however, there is no guarantee.

Bat, Batting Helmet, Baseball/Softball Pants, Defensive Facemask (SFBL), Cup (BBL), and Cleats

Email and social media communication will provide additional information for the MANDATORY SKILLS ASSESSMENTS. The assessment is MANDATORY for Divisions Minors and above. Watch for timeslots in your email on or before your assessment date. Head Coaches are advised to attend the Skills Assessments.
